Job Title: Infusion RN

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in providing exceptional care to oncology patients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for administering chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and various infusion treatments, while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities

+ Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, iron infusions, and hydration treatments.

+ Perform peripheral IV access and manage PICC line dressings.

+ Draw labs from ports and maintain port access protocols.

+ Monitor patients during infusions and respond to adverse reactions appropriately.

+ Collaborate with oncologists and clinical staff to ensure safe and effective treatment delivery.

+ Educate patients and families about treatment plans and potential side effects.

+ Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with clinical and regulatory standards.

Essential Skills

+ Experience working in an Oncology outpatient setting.

+ Experience administering chemotherapy and immunotherapy to patients.

+ Oncology nursing expertise.

+ Registered Nurse (RN) license.

+ 1+ years of experience in administering chemotherapy and immunotherapy.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Chemo Therapy certification preferred.

+ Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) preferred.

Work Environment

The position is based in a clinic setting working with adult oncology patients. The clinic operates from 8am to 5:30pm, with staggered shifts coordinated with other medical staff to ensure continuous patient care.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of San Antonio, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $66000.00 - $93000.00/yr.
