Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Histopathology Supervisor to oversee the lab supervision and training of histotechnicians. This position offers flexible hours and requires an individual with strong supervisory skills and a commitment to maintaining sample compliance and quality assurance testing.

Responsibilities

+ Supervise and train histotechnicians in laboratory procedures.

+ Ensure compliance with sample handling and processing protocols.

+ Conduct quality assurance testing to maintain high standards.

+ Oversee completion of Path and Lab ICCE Career Ladder requirements for Histology Technologist (HTL) IV/Specialist.

Essential Skills

+ Strong supervisory skills in a clinical laboratory setting.

+ Experience in sample compliance and quality assurance testing.

+ Bachelor's Degree in Science from an accredited college or university.

+ HTL(ASCP) certification by the American Society of Clinical Pathology Board of Certification or equivalent.

+ At least 5 years of clinical work experience.

Work Environment

The role involves working in a clinical laboratory environment with flexible hours. The supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the lab operations and ensuring that all procedures comply with established protocols and quality standards.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $105000.00/yr.
