Job Title: PSC Phlebotomist
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Phlebotomist for our patient service center, who will be responsible for drawing patients' blood and performing specimen processing. The role involves the collection and receipt of biological specimens, accurate data entry into the computer system, preparation of samples for analytical testing, and distribution to the appropriate analytical areas. You will also conduct specified analytical testing as assigned and adhere to the Code of Conduct.
Responsibilities
+ Draw patients' blood and perform specimen processing in a patient service center setting.
+ Collect and receive biological specimens into the department.
+ Accurately enter specimen data into the computer system.
+ Prepare samples for analytical testing and distribute them to the proper analytical areas.
+ Perform specified analytical testing as assigned.
+ Follow the guidelines of the Code of Conduct.
Essential Skills
+ 6 months to 1 year of prior phlebotomy experience is required.
+ Proficiency in blood draw techniques.
+ Experience with specimen collection and processing.
+ Strong understanding of laboratory procedures.
+ Ability to provide patient care during phlebotomy procedures.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Comfortable working in a team environment.
+ GED or high school diploma (HSD) required.
Work Environment
The position is based at a patient service center located at Scottsdale, AZ. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 6 AM to 3 PM. Candidates cannot live no further than 15 miles away. You will work alongside two or more phlebotomists in a collaborative setting. Our organization offers room for growth and career development, with opportunities to advance to Phlebotomy Technician 2 after six months, which includes a 4% pay increase. We prioritize promoting from within for leadership roles.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Scottsdale, Arizona
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.36/hr.
