The University of Maine at Augusta invites applications for Part-Time Faculty at our Aircraft Maintenance Technician School (AMTS) starting Spring 2025. The successful candidate will have experience with the subject matter in a wide range of aviation topics, including fixed-wing and rotorcraft.
The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to teaching and working with students one-on-one. The position will be based at UMA's Brunswick Aviation Campus, Hangar 6.
Qualifications
Required:
+ FAA Airframe & Powerplant Certification
+ Aircraft Maintenance Experience
+ Teaching Experience
Preferred:
+ Bachelor's degree
+ FAA Aircraft Inspection Authorization Certificate
+ Higher Education experience with curriculum writing and teaching
Salary: Salary is commensurate with qualifications and previous college teaching experience, in accordance with the PATFA contract.
