Job Title: Cardiology Pharmacy SpecialistJob Description

The clinical pharmacist optimizes patient care by providing appropriate, safe, and cost-effective pharmaceutical care, including drug dispensing, IV admixture program, and providing drug information. The role involves working under the direction of the Director of Pharmacy and/or the Pharmacy Operations Manager and overseeing the work of pharmacy technicians, students, and support staff.

Responsibilities

+ Provide pharmaceutical care that ensures the safe and effective use of medications.

+ Dispense medications accurately and efficiently.

+ Participate in the IV admixture program.

+ Provide drug information and consultation to healthcare professionals and patients.

+ Oversee and guide the work of pharmacy technicians, students, and support staff.

Essential Skills

+ B.S. or Pharm D. from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy.

+ Active Pharmacist license in good standing with the Oklahoma State Board of Pharmacy.

+ BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.

+ ACLS certification required for attending Code Blue.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Doctor of Pharmacy from an ACPE-accredited college of pharmacy preferred.

+ 1 year of inpatient hospital pharmacy experience.

+ Strong customer service skills.

+ Experience with prior authorization processes.

+ Specialty in cardiology.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $130000.00 - $160000.00/yr.

You may be eligible for a sign-on bonus of up to $10,000! You may also be eligible for relocation assistance.

This is a fully onsite position in Tulsa,OK.
