    The clinical pharmacist specialist is responsible for the provision of safe, effective, and prompt medication therapy. This role involves providing patient-centered care and integrated pharmacy services in a decentralized practice setting alongside physicians, nurses, and other hospital personnel. The specialist will participate in all necessary aspects of the medication-use system while delivering comprehensive pharmaceutical care to patients in assigned areas. Additionally, support for centralized and decentralized medication-use systems is required.

    Responsibilities

    + Provide safe and effective medication therapy.

    + Deliver patient-centered care in collaboration with a healthcare team.

    + Engage in all aspects of the medication-use system.

    + Offer comprehensive pharmaceutical care to assigned patients.

    + Support both centralized and decentralized medication-use systems.

    Essential Skills

    + Pharmacy degree or Pharm D. from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy.

    + Active Pharmacist license in good standing with the appropriate State Board of Pharmacy.

    + Meeting other applicable state requirements, such as sterile compounding.

    + BLS certification (required within 90 days of hire).

    + ALS/ACLS certification (required for attending Code Blue).

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Doctor of Pharmacy from an ACPE-accredited college of pharmacy.

    + 1 year of inpatient hospital pharmacy experience.

    + Experience in customer service and prior authorization processes.

     

    Work Environment

     

    This position requires working night shifts on a 7 on 7 off schedule from 8pm to 7am.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Permanent position based out of Tulsa, Oklahoma.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $130000.00 - $160000.00/yr.

    Workplace Type

     

    This is a fully onsite position in Tulsa,OK.
