You will also be responsible for equipment calibrations, adhering to environmental, health, and safety protocols, organizing and loading testing equipment for upcoming jobs, and maintaining and cleaning testing equipment. Additionally, you will study for and obtain certifications for EPA Test Methods 1-5 using company resources.

Fieldwork comprises long 8–10+ hour days spent climbing ladders over 75 feet, hoisting equipment by rope, and working outdoors in varied industrial settings. Travel is scheduled up to six months in advance and includes overnight hotel stays, full per diem, and use of a company vehicle with a mobile lab trailer. When not in the field, technicians work from the office, prepping jobs, packing samples, repairing equipment, and performing data entry and analysis.
