    Job Title: RF Engineer

    Job Description

    The RF Engineer will design, develop, and maintain RF plasma systems used in semiconductor manufacturing. This role requires hands-on work in a fab environment, collaborating with applications engineers and cross-functional teams to diagnose and troubleshoot semiconductor process tools.

    Responsibilities

    + Design, develop, and maintain RF plasma systems used in semiconductor manufacturing.

    + Diagnose and troubleshoot semiconductor process tools, such as temperature control and plasma generation.

    + Collaborate with applications engineers and cross-functional teams.

    + Participate in product release processes and tool development.

    + Perform hands-on work in the fab environment.

    Essential Skills

    + Minimum 5 years of experience in RF plasma applications within semiconductor manufacturing.

    + Strong understanding of RF technologies including UHF, VHF, and millimeter wave.

    + Hands-on fab experience in equipment engineering and tool diagnostics.

    + Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Physics, with a preference for a Master's degree.

    + Familiarity with semiconductor process tools and plasma systems.

    + Physical capability to work around tools and equipment.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Experience mentoring or training junior engineers.

    + Experience in product-level responsibility and release processes.

    + Exposure to companies like Intel, Lam Research, Advanced Energy, Comet, Plasma-Therm, or MKS Instruments.

The position requires occasional travel, approximately once per quarter to Japan, which may increase depending on the development stage. Flexible working hours are offered, with team meetings often scheduled between 4–6 PM to accommodate different time zones.

    This is a Permanent position based out of Sparks, Nevada.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $115000.00 - $144000.00/yr.
