Job Title: Test Engineering Technician

Job Description

The Test Engineering Technician is responsible for performing routine testing on the majority of electronic devices within the product group. This role requires setting up test stations and modifying test setups as indicated by procedures and instructions. Successful candidates will have the ability to recover failed products with minimal supervision or engineering direction.

Responsibilities

+ Perform routine testing on electronic devices within the product group.

+ Set up and modify test stations according to procedures and instructions.

+ Recover failed products with minimal supervision.

+ Utilize knowledge of Ohm's Law for testing and troubleshooting.

+ Handle high voltage systems, especially in high power TWT for power amplification.

Essential Skills

+ Strong understanding of Ohm's Law, including current, voltage, and amperage relationships.

+ Experience with high voltage systems.

+ Proficiency in using oscilloscopes, RF spectrum analyzers, and multimeters.

+ Electronic/electrical component manufacturing.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in RF testing.

+ Experience as an Electronics Technician or Test Technician.

+ Electronics manufacturing.

Work Environment

The work environment includes teams consisting of several Test Technicians, totaling between 30-50 technicians at any given time. The role supports a secure supply chain for RF and military applications, with opportunities to work on products such as traveling-wave tubes, amplifiers, microwave power modules, and electronic power conditioners. The manufacturing facilities are part of an established company supporting defense, space, medical, communications, and science industries.

This is a Permanent position based out of Williamsport, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $43680.00 - $62400.00/yr.
