Job Title: Environmental Compliance EngineerJob Description
In this role, you will oversee a dedicated team of three professionals within the regulatory compliance division. You'll play a key part in ensuring environmental standards are met across air permitting, wastewater management, hazardous materials handling, and waste disposal.
Responsibilities
+ Lead and mentor your team to maintain high compliance standards.
+ Interpret and apply environmental regulations related to air, water, and waste.
+ Prepare and submit environmental proposals and regulatory documentation.
+ Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support project goals.
+ Conduct occasional site visits to ensure field operations align with regulatory compliance.
Essential Skills
+ 5+ years of experience in Regulatory Compliance.
+ Experience working in environmental sites and manufacturing sites.
+ Proficiency in environmental engineering, environmental science, and biology.
+ Strong understanding of air permitting, wastewater, hazardous materials, and waste management.
+ Experience in compliance engineering and management.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with SPCC and environmental compliance proposals.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $33.65 - $43.27/hr.
