Job Title: Wastewater Engineer

Job Description

Lead multi-disciplinary teams to provide study, planning, design, construction administration, and start-up services to water and wastewater treatment utilities in Tennessee, as well as in Alabama, Georgia, and South Carolina as needed. Develop necessary deliverables such as engineering calculations, equipment sizing/selections, technical specifications, reports, cost estimates, and schedules for each project. Employ appropriate design methods to meet relevant standards, manage projects with high-quality work, and ensure on-time and on-budget delivery to achieve target profitability and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

+ Coordinate with leadership on staffing and workload throughout the entire project development.

+ Conduct quality assurance and quality control of formal documents, ensuring accuracy of data, information, and calculations.

+ Work directly with clients, maintaining open and detailed communication with clients and team members.

+ Assist in proposals, business development, and other marketing efforts as needed.

Essential Skills

+ Civil engineering expertise in wastewater and water systems.

+ Proficiency in software such as Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and Microstation.

+ Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.

+ 15+ years of experience with municipal or industrial water/wastewater systems.

+ Professional Engineer (PE) registration in Tennessee, preferably also in Alabama, Georgia, and South Carolina.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Substantial technical experience in water or wastewater treatment plant design.

+ Active engagement in professional and industry organizations.

+ Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

+ Working knowledge of technical specifications.

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Work Environment

This position requires a local candidate or willingness to relocate to Nashville, TN. The role involves working with advanced design software and collaborating with a diverse team of professionals. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $127000.00/yr.
