    Are you an experienced Medical Office Coordinator seeking new opportunities in the Lawrence, KS area? If so, Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is assisting a local organization in their search to add a **Recovery Support Specialist** to their team in **Lawrence, KS** !

     

    Schedule

     

    Upon hire you will work full-time Thursday/Friday/Saturday/Sunday, available schedules 10pm-6am (or 8am).

     

    Pay Rate

     

    The wage for this position is between $18 and $19.50. Hourly wage is dependent upon experience, education, geographic location and other factors.

    Position Overview:

    The Recovery Support Specialists monitor and direct client activity and are responsible for the implementation of agency policies.

    What you'll be doing:

    + Create a safe client environment by performing all required security and safety procedures

    + Assist in the client’s orientation of treatment goals, program rules and structure

    + Submit written incident reports in the event of unusual client behavior or activity while in DCCCA’s care

    + Assess and resolve minor incidents during weekend and evening hours when daytime staff is unavailable

    + Document required program and client information in a timely and complete manner

    + Monitor client’s weekly schedule and adherence to policies and procedures related to facility/equipment usage

    + Support Counselors and other treatment providers with the coordination and implementation of client services from admission through discharge

    + Supervise client performance, enforces program rules and applies the prescribed consequences for misbehavior

    + Conduct and/or participate in client room searches as necessary

    + Adhere to established protocol in crisis situations and notifies appropriate on-call staff members immediately

    + Follow the program schedule and completes assigned tasks in a timely and complete manner

    + Contributes to overall building security through routine monitoring

    + Assist with client groups and facilitates client activities as requested which may include occasional transport

    + Consult with members of the treatment team and other professionals as necessary and implements recommendations received to ensure quality client care

    + Enter data and assist with client billing process

    + Monitor and document clients’ self-administration of clients’ medication according to program policy and prescribed medical policy/procedure, conduct and document thorough and accurate medication count during each shift

    Qualifications:

    + High School Diploma or equivalent REQUIRED

    + Minimum 1 year of related experience

    + Data entry skills

    + Ability to build and maintain relationships

    + Strong attention to detail

    **Pay Details:** $18.00 to $19.50 per hour
