**Now Hiring:** Travel Registered Nurse – Progressive Care

**Location:** Watertown, NY

**_Important_** _: Applicants_ **_Must_** _reside_ **_60 miles_** _or more from zip code 13601_

**Schedule:** 13 weeks| Day shift 7a-730p | Weekend, Holiday and call required

Key responsibilities:

+ Provides intermediate care to acutely ill patients in a progressive care unit

+ Continuously monitor patients' vital signs and other critical health metrics using advanced equipment to track progress and detect changes in status

+ May be required to assume duties as a charge nurse

+ Requires strong critical thinking, advanced technical skills, and effective communication to manage patients with complex needs who are recovering from conditions like heart failure or sepsis

+ Be able to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a demanding environment

+ Must recognize safety issues to self and others and be able to assess and implement use of lifts or move patients in a safe manner

Qualifications:

+ Minimum 2 years’ current experience in critical care

+ Active RN License in NY

+ AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required, PALS preferred

+ Coronary care course or successful completion of challenge exam within orientation period

+ IV and IV Contrast certifications required

+ Must have completed at least 1 previous travel assignment

Pay Breakdown:

+ $1,224 per week (taxable)

+ $1,246 per diem (non-taxable)

**Pay Details:** $2,470.00 per week
