Job Title: AutoCAD Designer
Job Description
The AutoCAD Designer will be responsible for creating detailed module drawings of building area layouts, including material handling equipment, work areas, and components based on current examples as well as designs for future initiatives. This role will specifically focus on the design of grocery store delivery stations.
Responsibilities
+ Work with Design Engineers to determine requirements for delivery station layouts and translate those requirements into detailed interior CAD drawings with a high level of accuracy and completeness.
+ Collaborate with Design Engineers, other CAD drafters, World Wide Engineering (WWE), Pre-Construction, Construction, external architects, MHE vendors, and Launch Execution teams to deliver a completed, approved design set.
+ Review and engage with internal and external stakeholders to permit sets, structural drawings, elevations, and floorplans, addressing any questions around designs.
+ Support the Design quality control process by participating in daily peer reviews, adhering to design checklists and standards, and soliciting feedback from Design Engineers.
+ Deliver new designs, post-permit design updates, expansions, and retrofits to support associate and driver safety, quality, productivity, and capacity increase for the delivery stations.
+ Implement new template designs, process improvements, and safety processes into standard designs.
Essential Skills
+ Proficient in Architecture, AutoCAD, and AutoCAD drafting and design skills.
+ Understanding of architectural floor plans, preferably in large warehouse-type environments.
+ Ability to work across a large number of projects simultaneously, including construction documents, design, and drafting.
+ 3+ years of AutoCAD drafting experience, project coordination, and drafting in facility layout, manufacturing design, commercial, industrial, or structural environments.
+ Extensive operating experience in AutoCAD 2018 or later, preferably within a Design, Civil, Construction, or Architecture capacity.
+ Intermediate working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, and Bluebeam.
+ Associates Degree.

+ Excellent project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines and prioritize workloads.
+ Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment.
+ Effective communication skills for various audiences and stakeholders, including written and verbal communications, and meeting facilitation.
Work Environment
The position requires working onsite in Bellevue, WA, three days a week. The work involves collaborating with a dynamic team and requires adhering to design standards in a fast-paced environment.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Bellevue, Washington.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
