    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled BIM Coordinator with a focus on electrical work to join our team. The role involves the production of 2D and 3D electrical drawings for field installations and coordination with other subcontractor trades. You will be responsible for creating accurate 3D representations of electrical components and participating in meetings to resolve design clashes while adhering to budget, constructability, and NEC code requirements.

    Responsibilities

    + Produce 2D and 3D electrical drawings for field installations.

    + Read and interpret architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical floor plans, sections, and elevations.

    + Create accurate 3D models of electrical components for coordination purposes.

    + Participate in coordination meetings to resolve clashes and ensure compliance with budget, constructability, and NEC code requirements.

    + Consult with engineers of record and project management staff to resolve issues and explain drawings to production or construction teams.

    + Produce shop drawings and cross-sections of underground conduits and cables for fabrication and installation crews.

    + Travel to various project sites as required.

    + Comply with all company operating policies, procedures, and safety programs.

    + Perform additional duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    + Minimum of High School diploma or equivalent.

    + At least 2 years of experience in a BIM-related role, with a maximum of 15 years.

    + Proficient in using Autodesk Revit.

    + Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud, Procore, or other model viewing/collaboration software is preferred.

    + Understanding of construction drawings and specifications.

    + Knowledgeable in 3D coordination.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $38.46 - $52.88/hr.
