    Job Title: Project Manager - Medical Device ManufacturingJob Description

     

    We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to lead and implement manufacturing strategies for the successful transfer and assessment of medical device products, specifically focused on venous thromboembolism clot removal. This role involves managing the design transfer process to ensure timely, quality, and budget-compliant product delivery.

    Responsibilities

    + Accountable for all design transfer activities, ensuring on-time, in-scope, and on-budget delivery.

    + Manage project and product costs while proactively identifying and mitigating risks.

    + Activate and motivate the project team to achieve goals on time.

    + Collaborate closely with R&D, production, and suppliers to understand end-customer needs.

    + Innovate and enhance current project management tools and PMO governance.

    + Align stakeholders and prioritize resources effectively.

    + Monitor employee performance and handle workflow issues escalation.

    + Review deliverables and conduct spot checks.

    + Plan, monitor, and manage internal projects from initiation through completion.

    + Secure required resources and manage resources, budgets, risks, and changes using formal processes and tools.

    Essential Skills

    + Strong project management skills with 6-8+ years of experience.

    + Experience in medical device manufacturing and engineering.

    + Proficiency in change order and control processes.

    + Ability to align stakeholders and prioritize resources.

    + Experienced in design transfer and resource prioritization.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Bachelor's Degree in Engineering required.

    + PMP certification or equivalent preferred.

    + Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

    + Good analytical skills and evaluative judgment in complex situations.

    Work Environment

    This individual contributor role offers a professional setting where independent judgment and expertise are valued. The position requires a college degree or equivalent, with substantial work experience supplementing formal knowledge. Enjoy 2 weeks of paid time off and 10 paid holidays annually, fostering a balanced work-life environment.

    This is a Contract position based out of Irvine, California.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $75.00/hr.
