Job Title: Lab Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Lab Technician to join our team. The role involves collecting and preparing samples for laboratory analysis, ensuring accurate processing before testing. This position offers a unique opportunity for growth, as it became available due to a consultant transitioning to a permanent role, indicating potential for direct hire based on performance.
Responsibilities
+ Collect and prepare samples for lab analysts.
+ Ensure sample processing is handled accurately before ICP testing.
+ Bring samples to the lab for preparation and transport them to another lab for XRF analysis.
+ Perform ICP preparation work and conduct initial ICP-MS testing.
+ Document data and report findings to the Lab Manager.

Qualifications

Work Environment
The position operates on a 2-2-3 rotating schedule with shifts from either 7pm to 7am or 7am to 7pm. The work environment includes a mix of plant and laboratory settings. Full PPE and a fitted respirator are required to ensure safety.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Eagan, Minnesota.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $31.00/hr.
