We are seeking a skilled Radar Technician to support hardware prototype bring-up, RF testing, and debugging with minimal supervision. The role involves setting up and maintaining test infrastructure, including the use of 80 GHz far field and near field anechoic chambers and RF test equipment. The technician will also be responsible for assembling and disassembling hardware, including mechanical structures, PCBAs, and high-performance RF antennas/structures up to 81 GHz operating frequency.
Responsibilities
+ Support hardware prototype bring-up, RF test, and debug under minimal supervision.
+ Set up and maintain test infrastructure, including 80 GHz far field and near field anechoic chambers and RF test equipment.
+ Assemble and disassemble hardware, including mechanical structures, PCBAs, and high-performance RF antennas/structures up to 81 GHz operating frequency.
+ Document test procedures.
+ Execute RF tests, tuning, calibration, and troubleshooting.
+ Perform first level analysis of test results and generate summaries, visualizations, and conclusions.
+ Perform first level failure analysis.
+ Keep the lab clean and well-organized.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in RF testing and debugging.
+ Experience with RF lab environments.
+ Ability to handle RF equipment and infrastructure set-up.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with 80 GHz VNAs and anechoic chambers.
+ Familiarity with assembling and disassembling mechanical structures and PCBAs.
Work Environment
The role involves working in a lab environment equipped with advanced RF testing equipment, including 80 GHz VNAs and anechoic chambers. The technician will work on assembling and disassembling high-performance RF structures and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of NA, California.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
