Job Title: Survey Technician
Job Description
The role involves utilizing MicroStation and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D for various engineering designs, including topographic, boundary, ALTA/NSPS, and easement surveys. You will collaborate with survey crew members in the field and in the office to draft and manage survey data efficiently.
Responsibilities
+ Measuring land features, operating surveying equipment like GPS devices and total stations, and collecting data to create maps and plans for engineers and architects
+ Preparing field notes for analysis, plotting data, ensuring equipment accuracy, and working outdoors in various conditions as part of a survey crew to support construction and mapping projects.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in MicroStation and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
+ Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
+ Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
+ Ability to work effectively in a team setting.
+ Associate’s Degree and 5+ years of experience, or a combination of education and experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in surveying, civil engineering, and land development.
+ Survey field experience is a plus.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $75000.00/yr.
