Job Title: Environmental Project Manager

Job Description

We are seeking an Environmental Project Manager to lead and manage a diverse portfolio of environmental projects, including writing and reviewing technical reports and proposals, and overseeing staff. The role encompasses Phase I and Phase II environmental site assessments, remediation, subsurface investigations, and excavation oversight. The position supports environmental consulting projects for a leading gas station retailer on new sites throughout Ohio and Kentucky. While primarily office-based, some fieldwork is expected.

Responsibilities

+ Manage a diverse portfolio of environmental projects including Phase I/Phase II Environmental Site Assessments, remediation, and subsurface investigations.

+ Write and review technical reports and proposals.

+ Actively source new business opportunities.

+ Prepare and deliver marketing presentations.

+ Hire and manage subcontractors.

+ Mentor and train scientific staff to ensure quality work product.

+ Ensure the safe performance of project work.

+ Actively develop personal career growth.

Essential Skills

+ 10+ years managing environmental consulting projects.

+ Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or Engineering.

+ Strong technical experience geology, due diligence, site assessments, and subsurface investigations.

+ Ability to write and review technical reports and proposals.

+ Ability to create and maintain strong client relationships.

+ Effective management and training of staff.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Ohio EPA experience is a plus.

+ Ohio Voluntary Action Program (VAP) is a plus.

+ Business development experience is a plus.

Work Environment

This role is mainly in-office but requires occasional site visits, typically in Ohio or Kentucky. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $125000.00/yr.
