Job Title: Senior Systems Engineer
Job Description
This role requires a highly experienced professional with over 18 years of expertise to lead and shape technical solutions for new business opportunities, particularly at the front end of new programs. The position involves designing and planning complex space missions, encompassing both space and ground components, and assisting in the requirements and conception of satellite constellations and spacecraft. The role also includes supporting Critical Design Reviews (CDRs) and Preliminary Design Reviews (PDRs), as well as efforts utilizing Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
Responsibilities
+ Lead the design and planning of complex space missions.
+ Shape technical solutions for new business opportunities.
+ Assist in the requirements and conception of satellite constellations and spacecraft.
+ Support Critical Design Reviews (CDRs) and Preliminary Design Reviews (PDRs).
+ Contribute to efforts using Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
Essential Skills
+ Extensive experience in mission systems and requirements development.
+ Proficiency in satellite design and system architecture.
+ Strong background in systems engineering.
+ Expertise in defining missions and constellations to meet capabilities.
+ Experience as an architect for systems, constellations, or vehicles.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Top secret security clearance.
Work Environment
The work environment includes both office and manufacturing settings. The role follows a 9/80 schedule, offering every Friday off, and provides unlimited paid time off (PTO). The company offers excellent benefits, including a pension program.
Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Denver, Colorado.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $140000.00 - $250000.00/yr.
