Job Title: Assistant Project ManagerJob Description
Assist the Project Management Team with construction and implementation of energy efficiency, conservation, and renewable technology projects in retail, commercial, institutional, and industrial facilities. Provide accurate and timely project status updates and communication to Project Managers. Participate in and contribute to weekly construction meetings at various project site locations. Organize and maintain project-related files, drawings, materials, and correspondence.
Responsibilities
+ Assist with issuing bid packages to vendors and subcontractors for pricing and delivery schedules.
+ Manage project finances, vendor invoices, and client reporting activities.
+ Prepare spreadsheets, analyze proposals, and conduct project review meetings.
+ Perform and present findings on research related to project specifications, drawings, contract documents, financial reports, and other project-related material.
+ Collaborate with internal functions to prepare and maintain all forms of reports, meeting minutes, presentations, documentation, and related project material.
+ Assist with ensuring compliance with company, industry, trade, and regulatory safety, standards, practices, and codes.
+ Observe vendors and subcontractors onsite while providing administrative and technical support.
+ Foster positive and effective business relationships with all parties.
+ Perform other duties as required.
Essential Skills
+ Project management

+ Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related engineering discipline, or equivalent job experience
+ Ability to review confidential US security information
+ Proficiency with MS Office Suite & Procore
+ Experience with Punchlist and closeout of projects
+ Exposure to large-scale construction projects involving upgrades, renovations, and retrofits
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with institutional, government, commercial, and industrial customer sites and closeout experience

This is a Contract position based out of queens, New York.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
