Junior Cost EstimatorLocation: Greenvale, NY

Schedule: Onsite, Full-Time (Monday–Friday)

About the Role

We’re looking for a motivated Junior Cost Estimator to join our team and play a key role in keeping projects financially on track. This is a hands-on opportunity to work across all phases of construction—from early budgeting through closeout—while gaining exposure to high-end retail, residential, and commercial developments.

You’ll collaborate directly with project managers, accounting, and firm leadership to support cost control, scope development, and subcontractor coordination. For candidates eager to grow into a broader construction management role, this position offers a clear path forward.

What You’ll Do

+ Track and maintain detailed job costing against original budgets

+ Assist in developing and confirming scopes of work for contracts

+ Support monthly billing processes in coordination with accounting

+ Flag budget variances and provide actionable insights to PMs and principals

+ Perform quantity takeoffs and cost estimates across architectural, structural, and mechanical trades

+ Contribute to early-phase construction management tasks, including:

+ Concept budgeting

+ Subcontractor outreach and qualification

+ Value engineering coordination with design teams

What We’re Looking For

+ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field

+ 0–3 years of experience in cost estimation or construction cost control

+ Familiarity with construction and bidding processes

+ Proficiency in Procore and Microsoft Office Suite

+ Ability to read blueprints and perform takeoffs across multiple trades

+ Experience with general contracting or project budgeting

+ Exposure to high-end retail, commercial, or residential projects

Salary Range: $60,000 – $91,500 annually (based on experience)

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.84 - $44.00/hr.
