    Compensation

     

    $26.00 per hour

    Job Summary

    The Sales Intern will support the Sales department by assisting with various tasks while gaining a foundational understanding of material products and their applications.

    Main Responsibilities

    + Provide superior levels of customer service to each customer by understanding and meeting client needs.

    + Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and industry events.

    + Prepare and submit accurate quotes, contracts, and pricing strategies for projects.

    + Maintain detailed customer records using automated systems.

    + Provide post-sale support to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term relationships.

    + Shadow Sales team members and travel to various jobsites to gain hands-on experience.

    + Support the Sales team by developing a pipeline of projects and coordinating job-site services.

    + Monitor market trends, product innovations, and competitor activities.

    + Contribute to marketing initiatives that promote products and services.

    + Other duties as assigned.

     

    Education and/or Work Experience

     

    + Must be actively working towards a college degree in Business, Communications, or a related field.

     

    Skills

     

    + Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    + Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills.

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint

    + Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.

    + Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

    + Analytical mindset with the ability to gather and interpret data.

    + Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn.

    + Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.

    Physical Requirements

    + Ability to utilize hands and fingers in order to type and carry reports should the need require

    + Ability to stand, walk, and reach with arms and hands throughout the workday should the need arise

    + Ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch should the need arise

    + Ability to sit for a long period of time, possibly more than 90% of the workday

    + Ability to see clearly or with assistance via necessary correction

    + Sometimes driving long distances to job sites
