Description

Job Summary:

The SQL Database Administrator will manage and maintain SQL Server environments, ensuring data integrity, security, and performance across business-critical databases.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Install, configure, and maintain SQL databases.

+ Perform backups, restores, and disaster recovery planning.

+ Monitor and tune database performance.

+ Manage database access and security.

+ Support data migration and ETL processes.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Database Administration.

+ Strong proficiency in SQL Server and T-SQL.

+ Experience with backups, replication, and indexing.

+ Understanding of database security and performance optimization.

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Experience with Azure SQL or cloud database solutions.

+ Certification (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator).

+ Familiarity with PowerShell scripting.
