Description We are looking for an experienced Software Defined Vehicle (SDV) Consultant to support the IT team in advancing automotive software development tools and processes. This is a long-term contract position based onsite in Marysville, Ohio, ideal for professionals with a strong background in software engineering, vehicle architecture, and DevSecOps practices. The role focuses on enhancing development environments, optimizing workflows, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to design and implement a robust toolchain for vehicle software development.

• Maintain and support on-premise server infrastructure critical to development operations.

• Develop and refine CI/CD pipelines to improve software integration and deployment efficiency.

• Apply DevSecOps principles to ensure cybersecurity best practices are embedded throughout the development lifecycle.

• Create and update architecture diagrams for IT applications and integration layers.

• Provide technical expertise on operating systems used in embedded environments, including Linux and Windows.

• Contribute to the development and optimization of integrated controls and functional safety systems.

• Facilitate Agile methodologies, including sprint planning and execution, to support software development processes.

• Assist in the design and deployment of Over-the-Air (OTA) infrastructure for vehicle software updates.

• Ensure alignment with automotive industry standards and safety protocols, including ISO 26262. Requirements • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

• Proven experience in maintaining on-premise server infrastructure and application administration.

• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, software development, and DevOps methodologies.

• Familiarity with integrated controls, functional safety systems, and vehicle architecture.

• Proficiency in operating systems such as Ubuntu, Linux, Windows, and containerized platforms like Docker.

• Hands-on experience with DevSecOps practices and cybersecurity integration in development processes.

• Ability to design and interpret architecture diagrams for complex IT systems.

• Expertise in Agile frameworks, including Scrum and Kanban, to support development workflows. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
