Description

We’re seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to handle daily financial operations for a growing organization in the Kalamazoo area. The ideal candidate will be dependable, organized, and skilled at maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records.

Responsibilities:

+ Manage day-to-day bookkeeping activities, including accounts payable and receivable

+ Record and categorize financial transactions in the general ledger

+ Reconcile bank and credit card statements monthly

+ Process invoices, expense reports, and vendor payments

+ Assist with payroll processing and sales tax filings as needed

+ Generate balance sheets, income statements, and other financial reports

+ Support month-end and year-end close processes

Requirements

Qualifications:

+ 2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience

+ Proficiency in QuickBooks (Online or Desktop) and Microsoft Excel

+ Strong attention to detail and accuracy

+ Excellent time management and communication skills

+ Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
