    Description

    We’re looking for a motivated and organized Accounts Receivable Specialist to join a growing accounting team in the Kalamazoo area. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, customer-focused, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

    Responsibilities:

    + Prepare and issue accurate customer invoices

    + Record incoming payments and reconcile customer accounts

    + Monitor aging reports and follow up on overdue balances

    + Investigate and resolve billing or payment discrepancies

    + Communicate professionally with customers regarding account status

    + Assist with month-end close and reporting

    + Maintain organized and accurate records of all AR transactions

    Requirements

    Qualifications:

    + 2+ years of accounts receivable or general accounting experience

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Sage preferred)

    + Strong attention to detail and accuracy

    + Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

    + Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
