    Description

    Robert Half Legal is proud to partner with a respected midsize defense law firm in their search for a talented Litigation Paralegal. This dynamic contract-to-hire role provides a unique opportunity to support the firm’s litigation team with key responsibilities, including discovery, while offering a hybrid work schedule for added work-life balance.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Provide high-level support to attorneys in managing litigation cases, with a focus on the discovery process.

    + Organize and manage large volumes of case documents, including drafting and responding to discovery requests, subpoenas, and interrogatories.

    + Assist in document review, electronic discovery (eDiscovery), and preparing for depositions, hearings, and trials.

    + Maintain case files in an organized and effective manner, ensuring deadlines and milestones are met.

    + Draft, proofread, and finalize legal correspondence, pleadings, and other case-related documents.

    + Coordinate communication with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel as needed.

    + Conduct legal research and assist in deposition and trial preparation.

    Requirements

    Qualifications:

    + Minimum 2 years of litigation paralegal experience, with a demonstrated ability to oversee the discovery process.

    + Strong knowledge of electronic discovery tools and case management software.

    + Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple deadlines, and prioritize work effectively.

    + Exceptional attention to detail and strong written and verbal communication skills.

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with litigation databases.
