Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. This position offers a dynamic hybrid work environment, with initial onsite training followed by a flexible schedule. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our accounts payable processes.

Responsibilities:

• Process and verify invoices to ensure timely and accurate payments.

• Review and code accounts for proper classification and recordkeeping.

• Manage payment methods, including ACH transfers and check runs.

• Utilize SAP systems to streamline accounts payable activities.

• Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies and improve workflows.

• Assist with month-end processes and reporting as needed.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.

• Provide support during audits and maintain accurate documentation.

• Monitor vendor accounts to address outstanding balances or issues. Requirements • Strong experience in accounts payable processes, including invoice coding and payment handling.

• Proficiency in SAP or similar enterprise resource planning systems.

• Familiarity with ACH transactions and check processing.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment.

• Degree in accounting or a related field preferred.

• Strong communication skills to interact with vendors and internal teams.
