Jackie Meza with Robert Half is looking for a skilled Controller to lead our financial operations in Lodi, California. This role is integral to ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of accounting practices, financial reporting, and compliance with regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in managing financial processes, analyzing data, and contributing to the organization’s long-term strategic objectives. Responsibilities:

• Oversee the full cycle of accounting processes, ensuring accuracy and timely completion of financial tasks.

• Prepare, review, and present comprehensive financial statements to support organizational decision-making.

• Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulations.

• Manage work-in-progress (WIP) accounting to track project performance and profitability.

• Provide strategic financial insights to senior leadership, contributing to long-term business planning.

• Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.

• Mentor and guide finance team members to enhance their skills and align with organizational goals.

• Ensure adherence to all applicable financial and regulatory standards.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial operations and reporting processes.

• Monitor and manage budgets to support efficient resource allocation.

Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or financial management.

• Expertise in full cycle accounting, including accounts payable, receivable, and reconciliations.

• Strong knowledge of financial statement preparation and analysis.

• Proven ability to develop and execute strategic financial plans.

• Familiarity with work-in-progress (WIP) accounting processes.

• Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.

• Excellent communication and leadership abilities to manage teams and present insights.

• Proficiency in financial software and tools to streamline operations.
