Description

We are looking for a skilled Payroll Clerk to join our team on a short-term contract basis in Knoxville, Tennessee. This role is ideal for candidates with hands-on experience in Paycom payroll software who excel in data accuracy and organizational efficiency. You will be collaborating closely with the VP of HR to support a payroll project and ensure smooth and precise data processing. This position is REMOTE, must have Paycom experience as training will NOT be provided.

Responsibilities:

• Enter and verify payroll data in Paycom software with precision and efficiency.

• Ensure compliance with payroll guidelines and address any discrepancies in data.

• Collaborate with the VP of HR and payroll team to meet project objectives.

• Perform administrative tasks related to payroll processing as needed.

• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving payroll-related issues.

• Maintain confidentiality and secure handling of sensitive employee data.

• Provide timely updates and reports on project progress.

Requirements • Minimum of 1 year of experience using Paycom payroll software with attention to detail.

• Strong data entry skills with a keen eye for detail.

• Ability to work independently and adhere to strict deadlines.

• Proficient in Microsoft Teams and other communication tools.

• Solid understanding of payroll processes and best practices.

• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

• Prior experience handling payroll for mid-sized companies (101-500 employees) is a plus.
