Description

We are looking for a skilled Project Accountant for a Brookfield area organization. In this role, you will manage financial tasks related to projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contracts and company policies. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment within the construction industry.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and process billing statements to ensure timely and accurate invoicing.

• Manage accounts payable operations, including verifying invoices and coordinating payments.

• Oversee financial aspects of service, vendor, and supplier contracts, ensuring compliance and accuracy.

• Collaborate with project teams to monitor budgets and track expenses.

• Review and reconcile payroll data to ensure proper allocation to projects.

• Generate detailed financial reports and provide insights to support decision-making.

• Maintain organized records of all project-related financial transactions.

• Communicate with vendors and suppliers to address and resolve discrepancies.

• Assist in audits and ensure adherence to internal financial controls.

• Support the implementation of system updates or improvements related to project accounting.

Requirements • Proven experience in project accounting or a similar financial role.

• Strong knowledge of billing processes and accounts payable operations.

• Familiarity with service, vendor, and supplier contract management.

• Proficiency in payroll reconciliation and allocation.

• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work collaboratively with teams and communicate effectively.

• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
