About Wabash Valley Correctional Facility :

The Wabash Valley Correctional Facility is a multi-level security Correctional facility for adult males. The Wabash Valley Correctional Facility is located in Carlisle, Indiana. The Wabash Valley Correctional Facility has both minimum security and maximum security and offers multiple programs to meet the needs of the incarcerated population, including the Special Needs Acclimation Program or SNAP. Wabash Valley’s staff have implemented many beneficial programs to ensure a well-run facility that offers incarcerated individuals a genuine opportunity for growth while maintaining public safety. The facility is also heavily involved in the community, providing support to local food pantries, schools, and other community organizations.

Role Overview:

As a Plant Foreman, you will be given guidelines, technical manuals, and performance expectations, and be required to exercise independent judgment as necessary to supervise a shift of incarcerated individuals without direct supervision. You will be responsible for the quality of goods produced and staying on the production schedule. In this position, you will be responsible for the completion of job assignments and the accuracy of records, forms, reports, and technical information disseminated. Guidance is received from the Lead Foreman or Plant Manager in determining work assignments.

Salary Statement:

The salary for this position traditionally starts at $42,900.00 but may be commensurate with education or work experience.

A Day in the Life:

The essential functions of this role are as follows:

+ Design and create graphics for vehicle wraps, considering installation requirements and vehicle specifications.

+ Collaborate with managers and develop installation teams, to ensure design meets clients’ expectations and is feasible for installation.

+ Stay current with national trends in vehicle graphics, wraps, and design techniques to ensure our designs are competitive and innovative.

+ Prepare design files for production in ensuring they meet vehicle wrap installation requirements.

+ Provide design in support for vehicle wrap installations, troubleshooting design or installation issues as needed.

+ Work with digital printing and installation teams to ensure smooth project execution.

+ Continuously improve design processes and contribute to the team's efficiency and effectiveness.

What You'll Need for Success:

You must meet the following requirements to be considered for employment:

+ High School Diploma or High School Equivalent (HSE).

+ Minimum 3 years of experience in graphic design with direct experience in vehcile wrap design and installation.

+ Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)

+ Knowledge of vehicle wrap installation techniques, materials, and best practices.

+ Understanding of design principles for vehicle graphics and wraps

Supervisory Responsibilities/Direct Reports:

This role may serve as a team lead for an assigned work group.

This role provides supervision for incarcerated individuals and requires a high level of judgment and care.
