    Immediate Hirring For Production Associate

    Job Description

    We are seeking four dedicated production team members for our East Moline, IL location. As a warehouse worker, you will be responsible for completing various jobs, tasks, and projects throughout the warehouse. The departments you may work in include Cell, Saw Operator, Receiving, Shipping, and work orders. A primary responsibility will involve pulling copper tubing and pipe for shipments to major retailers. Before shipping, you will ensure the wire is covered with protective tubing, boxed, and shipped safely.

    Responsibilities

    + Move pipe to pick locations

    + Pull orders for shipment

    + Bar code and label pipe

    + Bundle and wrap pipe

    + Cut pipe according to cut sheets

    + Segregate and identify scrap materials

    + Wrap products for shipment

    + Unload trucks as needed

    + Load outbound shipments

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in production

    + General labor skills

    + Hand tool proficiency

    + Machine operating knowledge

    + Inventory management

    + Loading and unloading skills

    + Shipping and receiving experience

    + Assembly skills

    + Labeling expertise

    + Packaging knowledge

After a training period of 1-3 weeks, depending on the individual, employees become eligible for a production incentive, offering an additional $2.00/hour for Tier 1 and $3.00/hour for Tier 2.

     

    Work Environment

     

    The work environment is non-climate controlled, which means it can be hot during the summer and cold in the winter months. The noise level is typically quiet but can become moderate or loud depending on the specific department activities and the use of tools.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of East Moline, Illinois.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
