Job Title: Cleanroom Inspector

Job Description

Join our team as a Cleanroom Inspector, where you will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest quality standards in a cleanroom environment. This direct hire position is located in Cincinnati, OH, with a 3rd shift schedule following initial training on the 1st shift.

Responsibilities

+ Perform first piece inspections to ensure product quality.

+ Conduct random shop inspection audits to maintain standards.

+ Compile detailed inspection reports as needed.

+ Perform first article and PPAP inspections as required by customers.

+ Operate machinery safely and efficiently.

+ Maintain sort, set, shine, standardize, and sustain safety standards.

+ Complete additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).

+ Strong blueprint reading skills.

+ Basic computer skills.

+ Intermediate math skills, including geometry and trigonometry.

+ Mechanical inclination.

+ Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

+ Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.

+ Effective record-keeping abilities.

+ A reliable attendance record.

+ Ability to multitask efficiently.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in quality control, quality inspection, and quality assurance.

+ Familiarity with precision measuring devices such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.

+ Prior experience in a quality role within a metal fabrication shop for 1-2 years.

+ Capability to read a tape measure.

+ Willingness to train on the 1st shift for 60-90 days.

Work Environment

This position operates in a cleanroom environment with a 3rd shift schedule from Monday to Thursday, 7pm-5:30am, following a training period on the 1st shift from 6am-2:30pm. The role requires adherence to safety and cleanliness standards.

The pay range for this position is $45760.00 - $54080.00/yr.
