    Job Title: Welder and Fabricator

    Job Description

    Join a dynamic custom job shop as an FCAW welder, contributing to the growth and success of our projects. You will be responsible for sourcing your own materials, interpreting blueprints and welding symbols, and performing flux-core welding on mild steel. In addition, you will be engaged in various tasks such as moving materials, painting, and fabrication during downtime.

    Responsibilities

    + Source and gather required materials for projects.

    + Read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols accurately.

    + Perform flux-core arc welding (FCAW) on mild steel.

    + Engage in various fabrication tasks as needed.

    + Assist in moving materials and painting during downtime.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in MIG welding.

    + Experience with FCAW welding.

    + Strong blueprint reading skills.

    + Fabrication expertise.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in a custom job shop environment.

    + Ability to work independently on structural steel projects.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a dedicated shop environment focused on structural steel projects. The position offers a first shift schedule from 6:00am to 4:30pm, Monday to Thursday, with occasional opportunities to work on Fridays.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Knapp, Wisconsin.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
