Job Description
We are seeking a diligent Forklift Driver to operate gasoline, diesel, electric, or propane-powered industrial trucks equipped with lifting devices. This role involves aiding in the loading and moving of materials efficiently and safely.
Responsibilities
+ Operate industrial trucks equipped with lifting devices such as forklifts, elevating platforms, or buckets.
+ Assist in the loading and moving of materials within the facility.
+ Ensure the safe and efficient handling of materials.
+ Perform regular checks and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
Essential Skills
+ High School Diploma or equivalent.
+ 0-1 year of previous experience in a similar role.
+ Proficiency in operating gasoline, diesel, electric, or propane-powered industrial trucks.
+ Strong material handling skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in inventory management is a plus.
+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Work Environment
Work hours are from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. The role involves operating industrial trucks in a warehouse setting. The dress code is casual and safety-oriented, ensuring both comfort and protection.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sturgis, Michigan.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50/hr.
