Job Title: Welder

Job Description

Join our team as a Welder, where you will expertly weld metal parts using both gas welding and a combination of arc welding processes. Your role will include repairing broken or cracked parts, filling holes, and increasing the size of metal components. You will position and clamp together components of fabricated metal parts in preparation for welding and perform related tasks such as thermal cutting, drilling, shearing, punch pressing, and de-burring.

Responsibilities

+ Weld metal parts using gas and arc welding processes.

+ Repair broken or cracked parts and fill holes.

+ Increase the size of metal parts.

+ Position and clamp fabricated metal parts before welding.

+ Perform thermal cutting, drilling, shearing, punch pressing, and de-burring.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in welding, specifically MIG welding.

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

+ Experience with stainless steel and fitting.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ 2+ years of experience in MIG welding, with schooling considered in lieu of work experience.

Work Environment

You will work on the 2nd shift from 3pm to 1am, Monday through Thursday, with opportunities for overtime two Fridays a month. Our newly renovated facility, located in a completely revamped old Eaton building, offers a modern and efficient work environment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Waukesha, Wisconsin.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $55120.00 - $61360.00/yr.
