Job Title: Warehouse Worker
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Worker who possesses the ability to repair roof panels, pressure wash, and paint containers. The ideal candidate will be mechanically inclined, comfortable using hammers, saws, and drills, and able to work in various weather conditions, including heat.
Responsibilities
+ Perform assembly-type functions using hand and/or power tools without supervision.
+ Ensure quality standards are met.
+ Move materials using a hand cart and/or pallet jack.
+ Pressure wash containers and other assigned areas.
+ Assist with maintaining a safe and clean working environment, both inside and outside the facility.
+ Maintain PODHUNTER, including accurate inventory and container classification.
+ Complete forklift training and safely operate a forklift.
+ Perform light welding tasks such as roof discs and door tracks, and simple fabrication.
+ Weld plastic on roofs and panels.
+ Perform simple cutting operations with oxy/fuel equipment.
+ Adhere to all safety policies and perform all tasks in a safe manner, including adherence to OSHA regulations.
+ May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ 2+ years of experience working outdoors
+ 2+ years of experience using hand and power tools in assembly, steel fabrication, carpentry, or industrial painting
+ Ability to perform light welding and simple cutting operations with oxy/fuel equipment
+ 2+ years of construction experience

Work Environment
The work environment involves working outdoors, often in hot conditions. The shift runs from 8 AM to 4 PM, Monday through Friday, with current Saturday shifts expected for the foreseeable future. The facility is actively expanding and has recently ordered 50 roofs for 200 containers.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Humble, Texas.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
