Key Responsibilities:

+ Perform detailed engineering calculations, drawings, and design for access systems, primarily focused on construction hoist and its run-back platform structures (four poles, star leg, and mast towers) along with other temporary structure projects involving shoring and bracing, scaffold, mast climbers, work platforms, roof protections, sidewalk shed, construction fence, and suspended systems.

+ Perform detailed engineering calculations, drawings, and design for steel fabrication and erection. Develop fabrication drawings, connection details, and bill of materials. Coordinate closely with fabrication shops, field teams, and engineering staff to ensure accuracy, constructability, and timely delivery of projects. Provide technical oversight during fabrication and erection to resolve design and shop issues.

+ Prepare drawing submittals using AutoCAD, Revit, and Autodesk Advance Steel for fabrication and erection purposes.

+ Supervise, co-ordinate and/or conduct complex design/engineering assignments on multiple projects.

+ Monitor work schedule to ensure work is completed on time.

+ Review work for accuracy, completeness and to ensure it meets technical specification as well as company standards.

+ Provides technical support/training for less experienced engineers, trainees and designers.

+ Checks, reviews, and approves application drawings.

+ Visits construction project sites and carries out inspections as required.

+ Provides backup support to senior engineer and engineer manager.

+ Occasional travel to branch offices to provide engineering support in those locations.

Qualifications:

+ 7-10 years of experience.

+ Bachelor's degree in engineering from accredited program, master's degree or equivalent.

+ Has PE/SE license in multiple jurisdictions and comfortable stamping multiple access engineering project.

+ Able to perform and check complex calculations.

+ Ability to create and approve Engineering calculators.

+ Able to review/obtain necessary information for all scaffold design projects.

+ Proficient in utilizing advanced CAD & 3D model skills at drafting intermediate complexity projects using Revit.

+ Advances skills in specific design details.

+ Skilled in nodal and finite element analysis.

+ Full knowledge of regulations and codes.

+ Ability to conduct site inspections of all product lines.

+ Ability to train junior engineers and other staff members.
