    Production Associate

     

    Paying $23.50 / HR

     

    Location - Portland, OR

    Responsibilities:

    + Material handling and machine operation in a metals recycling environment.

    + Load pieces of raw metal in to chopping machine to cut and form the metal in to small rounded pieces that are sold to manufacturing companies.

    + Offloading the finished product from the machine and prepare for shipping.

    Qualifications:

    + No experience required to be considered

    + Must be comfortable working in an industrial environment

    + Must be comfortable wearing all PPE while working: Hard Hat, Safety Glasses, high visibility vests, steel toed boots, ear plugs

    + Must be comfortable working outside about 50% of the time

    Environment/ Shift:

    + 115 year family owned business who cares about their employees, industrial work environment but with a heavy focus on safety

    + Regular scheduled hours from 9am-5pm, Monday-Thursday, and 5am-1pm on Friday.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $23.50 - $23.50/hr.
