    Job Description

    As a General Laborer, you will be responsible for inspecting vehicles for dents, scratches, and other damages, documenting these findings, washing and prepping cars for customer pickup, and moving vehicles around the lot to designated areas. You will also interact with customers both in person and over the phone, supporting the in/out processing of service members and Department of Defense civilians' vehicles for shipment or storage.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform thorough inspections of vehicles for any damage.

    + Document vehicle conditions and apply appropriate decals.

    + Take accurate photographs of vehicles being processed.

    + Ensure vehicles are cleaned, free of personal items, and ready for storage or shipment.

    + Properly park and position vehicles in designated spaces.

    + Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of tools and work area.

    + Respond to requests via email, phone, and in person.

    + Greet and assist customers professionally, providing information and support.

    + Assist Vehicle Processing Center management staff.

    + Adhere to and enforce all safety policies and procedures.

    + Follow all established processes and procedures.

    + Communicate effectively with management, customers, contractors, and colleagues.

    + Perform additional duties as assigned.

    + Work a flexible schedule as needed.

    + Ability to drive both manual and automatic vehicles.

    + Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.

    + Proficiency in documentation and computer literacy.

    Work Environment

     

    Work is primarily conducted indoors in a fan-cooled area where inspections and cleaning occur. Some tasks will require working outside, and the role involves standing for extended periods. The facility supports the shipment of cars for deployed service members to their stationed locations.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of El Cajon, California.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $18.85 - $18.85/hr.
