Job Title: CNC Machine Operator

Job Description

This position involves more than just operating a CNC machine. You will be responsible for setting up your machine, conducting tool changes and teardowns, and reading micrometers and calipers. Additionally, you will need to interpret blueprints and drawings to create precise parts. Part of your role will include inspecting the parts to ensure there are no flaws and performing minor maintenance on the machine, with training provided if necessary.

Responsibilities

+ Set up CNC machines and perform tool changes and teardowns.

+ Read and interpret micrometers, calipers, blueprints, and drawings.

+ Create parts and inspect them for any flaws.

+ Perform minor maintenance on the machine, with training available if needed.

Essential Skills

+ 1+ years of experience setting up machines (Mill or Lathe).

+ 1+ years of experience performing tool changes on Mills or Lathe.

+ 1+ years of CNC operation in a manufacturing environment.

+ Ability to read measuring instruments, specifically micrometers and calipers.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Ability to read blueprints.

+ Experience in machine maintenance

Work Environment

The work environment includes two shifts: 1st Shift from Monday to Friday (6:00 AM to 2:30 PM) and 2nd Shift from Monday to Friday (3:00 PM to 11:00 PM) with training on the first shift.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.00/hr.
