    Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic

    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled Machinery Mechanic for the 2nd (3pm-11pm) or 3rd shift (11pm-7am) in Minerva, OH. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, installing, and repairing machinery and tools, as well as fabricating using manual lathes and mills. The role involves working with pneumatic and hydraulic components, reading blueprints and manuals, and maintaining various plant equipment. This position offers a competitive hourly rate and the opportunity to work in a laid-back union environment.

    Responsibilities

    + Troubleshoot, install, and repair machinery and tools.

    + Fabricate using manual lathes and mills.

    + Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic and hydraulic components.

    + Read and interpret blueprints and manuals.

    + Conduct daily maintenance and repair of stoke pumps, vacuum furnaces, vacuum pumps, and boosters.

    + Assist in other plant maintenance work as required by supervision.

    + Repair and maintain other plant equipment as needed.

    + Maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner that gets along with customers, clients, co-workers, and supervisors.

    + Follow all safety rules and regulations.

    + Perform other duties as instructed.

    Essential Skills

    + In-depth experience in general maintenance of all plant equipment.

    + Ability to troubleshoot and repair critical machinery.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in general maintenance of plant equipment.

    + Ability to work in varying physical conditions, from pleasant to extreme temperatures.

    Work Environment

     

    You will work in a larger union facility with the possibility of varying shift hours. The work environment includes a 20-minute paid lunch and 1-3 ten-minute paid breaks. The role offers $37.99 plus a $1 shift differential for off-shifts. Be open to all shifts due to bidding and union requirements.

    The pay range for this position is $56160.00 - $69804.80/yr.
