    Job Title: Maintenance Technician

    Job Description

    Join our dynamic team as a Maintenance Technician, where you will support all maintenance activities crucial for manufacturing operations and facilities. You will work with extrusion and forming machines to ensure the smooth production of plastic containers for the food and beverage industry.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform both reactive and preventative maintenance on extrusion machines, forming machines, and palletizers.

    + Conduct facilities maintenance to support manufacturing operations.

    + Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs.

    + Maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems, gear boxes, and motors.

    + Complete electrical troubleshooting and maintenance repair tasks.

    Essential Skills

    + Minimum of 4 years of industrial maintenance experience.

    + Electrical experience with sensors, relays, conduit, wiring, and electrical boxes.

    + Mechanical experience with hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, gear boxes, and motors.

    + Experience in preventative maintenance including lubrications, changing oils, and bearings.

    + Possession of steel-toe footwear and personal tooling (basic hand and power tools).

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with PLCs and robotics is a plus.

    + Experience in the plastics industry is advantageous.

    Our facility operates in a fast-paced environment, fostering growth and upward mobility. While you may need hearing protection, the noise level is manageable. The facility has a slight plastic smell that is easy to acclimate to. Required PPE includes steel toes, and beard and hair nets.

    This is a Permanent position based out of Fort Wayne, Indiana.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $54080.00 - $62400.00/yr.
