Job Title: Food Wrapper

Job Description

Join our team as a Food Wrapper, where you will be responsible for preparing and packaging cheeses for online orders with the utmost care and precision.

Responsibilities

+ Cut cheeses using a wire cutter for online orders.

+ Wrap products neatly and with care, ensuring food safety standards are met.

+ Pick and pack orders accurately for shipment from the warehouse.

+ Manage general production tasks including inventory, food preparation, and food handling.

+ Stock wrapped cheeses into boxes ready for dispatch.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in picking and packing orders.

+ Proficiency in wrapping food products.

+ Knowledge of food safety and handling procedures.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in food manufacturing or production is advantageous.

+ Possession of a food handler's certification is beneficial.

+ Strong wrapping skills are a plus.

Work Environment

The work schedule is from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM or 7:00 PM. The role involves working in a warehouse setting with a focus on food safety and handling.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Long Island City, New York.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
