Job Title: Quality Inspector
Job Description
As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for conducting virtual inspections of manufactured products, ensuring quality assurance through detailed reviews of documents and photos uploaded by partners. This role requires effective communication and collaboration with various teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain, to manage inspection processes and support contract manufacturers. You will work in a dynamic environment, focusing on continuous improvement of quality control processes.
Responsibilities
+ Conduct virtual quality control inspections by reviewing documents and photos in the Partner Portal and ERP.
+ Follow written procedures to ensure compliance with quality standards for external customers.
+ Collaborate with Case Management, Partner Support, and MRB to manage rework effectively.
+ Ensure quick turnaround times for inspections and quality assurance processes.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
+ Experience in inspecting and documentation.
+ Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, including assembly drawings.
+ Knowledge of mechanical tools such as hand tools and micrometers.
+ Experience with visual inspection, quality check, quality assurance, and quality control.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent.
+ Working knowledge of manufacturing processes and dimensional inspection reporting.
+ Strong organizational skills and ability to work in a dynamic environment.

Work Environment
The work environment includes exposure to 3D printing technology. The role follows an 8:30am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday shift. The dress code is casual, including jeans, shorts, a plain shirt, and closed-toed shoes. The facility is ITAR compliant, requiring U.S. citizenship or permanent residency.

This is a Contract position based out of Gaithersburg, Maryland.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
