    Job Title: Low Voltage Installer

    Job Description

    As a Low Voltage Installer, you will travel to various client sites to perform testing, configuration, installation, and preventative maintenance on commercial and detention-grade locks, access control, intercommunications, and video surveillance systems. Your role will also involve servicing and troubleshooting low voltage and electro-mechanical systems.

    Responsibilities

    + Travel to and work at client sites to perform system testing, configuration, and installation.

    + Conduct preventative maintenance on a variety of security and communication systems.

    + Troubleshoot low voltage and electro-mechanical systems efficiently.

    + Climb ladders and carry objects over 50lbs for short distances.

    + Read and interpret blueprints and wiring diagrams.

    + Demonstrate eagerness to learn and adapt to new information.

    + Work effectively in teams and independently with limited supervision.

    Essential Skills

    + Mechanically inclined and organized self-starter.

    + Proficiency in electronics, circuits, relays, and low voltage systems.

    + Experience with personal computers and Microsoft Office applications.

    + Strong interest in software configuration and programming, especially related to surveillance and card access systems.

    + Ability to see and identify colors relevant to work tasks.

     

    Work Environment

     

    Work indoors on government, commercial, and industrial projects. Enjoy a family-first culture that emphasizes teamwork and customer service, with team sizes ranging from 2-6 crew members. Adhere to a work casual dress code, with company-provided t-shirts and composite toe boots or shoes. Standard working hours are 7:30am - 4pm, with an average of 5 hours of overtime weekly. Tools will be provided as needed.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Madison, Wisconsin.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
