Job Title: Process Operator
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Process Operator who will be responsible for setting up, running, and monitoring the process of drying chemical slurry. The role involves operating an industrial dryer that dries wet products, which then need to be packaged and documented.
Responsibilities
+ Set up, run, and monitor the drying process of chemical slurry.
+ Track and record production output via computers in the tracking system.
+ Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on process equipment.
+ Operate an industrial dryer, ensuring wet products are dried, packaged, and documented accurately.
+ Gain a full understanding of each piece of equipment and control system in the assigned work area, including startup, operation, and shutdown procedures.
+ Diagnose equipment issues and understand equipment hazards and safe operation.
+ Understand the role, use, purpose, and layout of each piece of equipment in the process area.
+ Comprehend operating procedures related to process, safety, and maintenance.
+ Identify process and chemical hazards in the area.
Essential Skills
+ Experience operating process equipment.
+ Mechanical aptitude for maintenance and repair.
+ Proficiency in using computers for tracking and documentation.
+ Familiarity with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and production schedules.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
